This role offers a unique opportunity to provide spiritual guidance and support to students, staff and parents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer pastoral care and assistance to students, staff and parents
  • Foster relationships with local churches and community groups
  • Organize and lead worship services and other spiritual events
  • Collaborate with school leaders to promote a positive school culture

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to their faith and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with students, staff and parents.

This is a part-time position that will commence in Term 4, 2024. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Christian faith and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:
  • A degree in theology or a related field
  • Experience working in a chaplaincy role or a similar environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and provide proof of relevant qualifications.
