Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide support for school operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative assistance, managing school assets, coordinating events and catering, and supporting the principal with partnerships and public relations requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective administrative support, including organisation and prioritisation of tasks
  • Assist with financial management, including handling debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and preparing financial returns
  • Manage school assets, including administration of out-of-hours use of facilities, maintenance, repairs, and gardeners
  • Coordinate events, catering, and professional learning programs
  • Support the principal with partnerships and public relations requirements
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience in financial processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in using computers and software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets, and word processing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service principles
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. They will also have experience working in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
