About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Program Manager to join our Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd team in Sydney. As a key member of our Workplace Health and Safety team, you will play a critical role in building and executing programs that create a safe workplace and promote a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Strategic Programs: Develop, review, approve, coordinate, and lead large, strategic projects/programs within Amazon Business Units (BUs) and across different geographies.
  2. Build Relationships and Partnerships: Build relationships and partner across many organizations to build and execute on new initiatives and roadmaps each year.
  3. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work and collaborate with stakeholders and partners to align on project/program goals and resources.
  4. Coordinate Program Portfolio: Coordinate a portfolio of programs/projects from inception to delivery. These may also be global in nature.
  5. Define and Implement Metrics: Define and implement metrics to measure and communicate Australian program achievements.
  6. Communicate Program Roadmap: Communicate the overall program roadmap and provide periodic status updates to the stakeholders, and present programs/projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  7. Provide Decision Support: Provide program decision support, insights, and recommendations through data gathering and information analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certificate
  • Master's degree
  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
