Senior Trading Systems Support Specialist

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Trading Systems Support Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Global Energy Management division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, stability, and efficiency of trading and risk management systems across APAC.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Monitor IT platforms, investigate alerts, and resolve incidents to ensure system continuity and minimize disruptions.
- Provide application support to local trading users, gather feedback, and collaborate with development teams to enhance user experience.
- Closely work with global support teams within a Follow-the-Sun model to address issues efficiently.
- Contribute to operational procedures, maintain monitoring tools, and document recurring incidents for continuous improvement and process refinement.
- Share insights, propose enhancements, and support system release activities to drive business growth and excellence.
- University degree in IT Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- A minimum of 5–10 years' experience in IT application support within trading or portfolio management environments.
- Strong understanding of trading workflows; exposure to derivatives or commodities is an asset.
- Solid technical background in Windows environments, SQL, and scripting languages.
- Experience in monitoring and supporting large-scale IT systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with resilience and initiative.
