Database Administration Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join a dynamic program team. In this role, you will design, implement, and provide operational support for database services infrastructure.

  • Create and manage databases, ensuring reliable data recovery and regular backup procedures.
  • Implement access controls, encryption, and audit trails to ensure data security and compliance with legislation.

You will be responsible for writing, debugging, and optimising SQL queries using performance tuning and monitoring tools. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-profile reform program and contribute to meaningful outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of database design, SSAS, and SSIS.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server databases and performance tuning tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise across teams and stakeholders.

You should also have a degree and/or relevant certifications in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.

Working Arrangements

This is a contract position with flexible hybrid working arrangements. You must be able to obtain Baseline clearance and be willing to work offices across Australia.
