Security Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Expert to join our team. As a key member of our technical support unit, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our clients via various channels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, chat, and web-based solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues by conducting thorough investigations, debugging, packet captures, and traffic flow analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering/Development team to report and resolve product-related issues.
  • Maintain and manage technical cases, providing corrective actions based on analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Create informative articles and bulletins to enhance our knowledge base.
  • Develop expertise in Fortinet's product line and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship with NV2 security clearance.
  • Experience working as an engineer in telecommunications, networking, or security industries.
  • Familiarity with OSI model and TCP/IP protocol.
  • Administrative knowledge of Windows, Unix, or Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and customer-centric approach.
  • Prior experience with security devices (firewalls, IPSs, mail security gateways) is a plus.
  • Understanding of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and authentication methods (LDAP, SSO, 2-factor authentication).
  • Familiarity with database maintenance and SQL.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
