Civil Project Leadership

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Civil Project Engineer to lead the delivery of high-quality civil projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing a group of engineers to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to ensure quality workmanship on-site.
  • Defect Management: Prioritize defect completion, record non-conformances, and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures, addressing high-risk activities and environmental issues immediately.
  • Project Delivery: Support planning, design suitability, and resource management for effective project delivery.
  • Documentation and Communication: Monitor documentation flow, conduct team meetings, and maintain communication with stakeholders.
  • Resource Allocation: Supervise resource allocation, foster teamwork, and ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Cost Control: Manage cost control, budget performance, and subcontractor agreements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 6+ years of engineering experience in infrastructure construction – electrical background preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Senior Project Engineer.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, demonstrated leadership abilities, working knowledge of HSE requirements, competent cost controller, excellent verbal and written communication, and proficiency in MS Office and budgeting and planning software.
