Claims Management Expertise Sought

This role is pivotal in delivering claims management services to clients. You will handle general insurance claims for Local Government clients with a focus on liability claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end processes for a mixed portfolio of primarily Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Property claims.
  • Conduct accurate reserving, claims investigation, manage claims costs, and negotiate with third parties.
  • Build and maintain rapport with clients.
  • Analyse entitlements of cover to Clients.
  • Deal with external reinsurers on a quarterly basis.
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of general insurance claims experience.
    • Good written and oral communication skills.
      • A strong customer service approach.
      • The ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when required.
      • Previous experience in providing indemnity advice to stakeholders.
      • Deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills.
      • The ability to work in Australia.
