Job Overview

A geology role involves collecting and interpreting geological data to support mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor reconciliations between predicted and actual grade and tonnes.
  • Provide accurate ore delineation and grade estimations.
  • Conduct short to medium-term planning.
  • Maintain QAQC standards for geological data collection.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of ore from mine to ROM.
  • Supervise mining operators and contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Geological Science/Earth Science or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated open-cut mine geology experience (1-2 years).
  • Current WA 'C Class' Driver's License.
  • Experience with geological data collection and ability to interpret findings.
  • Proficiency in Vulcan and Excel preferred.
