About This Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Healthcare Scheduling Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our customers receive timely and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the scheduling of allied health and nursing services to meet customer needs.
  • Triage referrals, manage bookings, and respond to last-minute changes with ease.
  • Liaise with external providers to ensure service instructions align with best practice guidelines.

You will be the primary point of contact for service updates, providing exceptional support to both customers and clinicians by maintaining stable and responsive schedules. Your coordination will enable our customers to continue living independently at home while empowering our clinical workforce to operate efficiently and compassionately.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in scheduling and rostering environments is essential.
  • A background in allied health or clinical industries is desirable but not mandatory – you may come from an administration or medical receptionist background.
  • A solid understanding of administrative procedures and general business practices is crucial.
  • You must be able to work effectively under pressure, managing competing priorities and deadlines with ease.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) are necessary to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • The ability to show empathy and understanding when dealing with customers and relatives is vital.

This full-time role offers hybrid flexibility, allowing you to choose between working from our Aspley, Oxley, or Sunshine Coast offices three days a week.
