The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and dynamic individual to join our team at Transgrid as a Project Development Manager. Transgrid is a leading energy company focused on renewable energy solutions in the competitive energy market.

The Project Development Manager will lead the development, negotiation, and execution of energy services connection agreements to contribute to the growth targets of our business. The role is responsible for the management and execution of connection infrastructure transactions supporting the growth of our Energy Services Connections business.

The role has a high level of client and stakeholder management while coordinating a broad bid team across the Transgrid Group. With your exceptional stakeholder management skills, you will build strong partnerships across the organisation and build credibility quickly with your internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experience in the energy infrastructure and/or renewable energy industry
  • Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • Excellent customer and stakeholder relationship management skills, including demonstrated influencing skills with potential customers, decision makers, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Proven track record in the development and management of competitive energy infrastructure bids
  • Experience in innovative project development and management, and well-developed problem-solving skills
  • High-level business and commercial acumen with a proven track record in the development, negotiation, and execution of commercial agreements
  • Proven experience with pricing high-value transactions
  • Experience with developing pricing strategies with the use of financial modelling
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary organisations and in roles that require the coordination of multiple inputs
  • Knowledge and experience with relevant database systems, particularly CRM (e.g. Salesforce) preferable
  • Excellent time management and the ability to achieve deadlines through competing priorities under pressure
  • Competent in the application of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements relative to the duties of the position
