Service Accounts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Accounts Manager to join our team at Sumitomo (SHI) Hansen Australia Pty Ltd. As a key member of our Service Sales Team, you will be responsible for supporting and expanding relationships with existing accounts, delivering solutions to customer needs, and contributing to the overall success of the business.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical trade, or an engineering qualification, with experience in the mining, minerals processing, and materials handling industries. You will be able to understand and read mechanical and technical data, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the lead point of contact in our Mackay Service Centre.
- Maintain and grow our existing relationships with key accounts and customers.
- Build on existing customer knowledge to identify opportunities for account growth and generate new business within existing accounts.
- Support State Sales team with opportunities management (CRM – Salesforce).
- Maintain the CRM database with accurate client information and activities.
- Assist State Sales team with account/client requests and job requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation of service/repair reports for key accounts.
- Introduce and promote new products and services to key accounts and customers.
- Make technical product selections based on client applications and specifications.
- Prepare and manage new product and service quotations.
- Meet performance goals and KPIs of monthly targets and customer satisfaction requirements.
- Attend customer sites as required.
- Maintain and stay up to date with information regarding all mining and industrial activities in QLD.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve budgets and growth strategies of the business.
- Able to understand and read mechanical and technical data.
- Able to work with all levels of business both internally and externally.
- A team player with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A high level of self-motivation, initiative, and proactivity.
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and solving issues in a timely manner.
- Skilled on computers and with general technology (Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite).
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Results-driven.
- Full driver's licence.
- Live in Mackay and/or surrounding areas.
