Lead Health Insights Division

The role involves leading and overseeing the work of a division comprising three Groups, namely Primary and Community Care & Information Standards Group, Health Systems & Performance Group and Population Health Group.

  • This role is pivotal in providing governments, stakeholders and the broader community with valuable evidence and insights into key issues affecting health and welfare of Australians.
  • Candidates will have experience leading data management, analytical, reporting and/or statistical functions and possess a strong working understanding of the Australian health landscape.

A key requirement for success in this role is the ability to work in complex environments, think innovatively, build relationships across various sectors and demonstrate integrity, sound judgement and leadership credentials.

Additionally, successful applicants will be expected to possess excellent communication and presentation skills, intellectual rigour, critical analysis and personal style that engenders trust and respect.

The role is advertised as Canberra based, however consideration may be given to exception for a preferred candidate to be based in Sydney with regular travel to Canberra.
