This job posting is for an entry-level position in drilling operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in labor-intensive work, such as concreting, farming, plumbing, or bricklaying. Previous FIFO mining experience is also desirable.

The Role:

As a Drillers Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting experienced drillers with daily tasks, including equipment checks, safety procedures, and routine maintenance. You will also load and unload heavy vehicles, assist with setting up and dismantling rigs, and perform manual handling of drill rods, sample bags, and core trays.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • ">
  • A HR-B Unrestricted Licence with no restrictions">
  • Prior Driller's Offsider experience">
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical">
  • Clean Police Record from within the last 3 months">
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency">
