What Is Expected Of You On The JobListen to the Driller and follow their guidanceConducting daily pre-start equipment checksCompleting necessary safety paperwork and processesAssisting with routine rig / machine / equipment / tool maintenance and cleaningLoading and unloading heavy vehiclesAssist in set up / dismantle / move rigs and associated equipmentManual Handling of drill rods, sample bags, core trays etcOther duties as requiredWhat stands out to our team:A background in a labour-intensive role, for example:ConcretingFarmingPlumbingBricklayerGeneral LabouringAny Previous FIFO mining experience in any roleIf you currently hold any of the following:WAH4WDFirst AidStandard 11 (S11)Current Coal Board MedicalTo be successful, you must have and provide:HR-B Unrestricted Licence with no restrictionsPrior Driller's Offsider experienceCurrently reside in QueenslandAbility to pass a pre-employment medicalClean Police Record from within the last 3 monthsAustralian Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyBe willing to put in the hard yards in training.Serious physical and mental fitness is a must to succeed in Offsiding.
