Learning Designer

About the Role:
Box Hill Institute seeks an experienced Learning Designer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality blended and online resources to support the Teacher Development and Innovation team and Box Hill Institute faculties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging and effective blended learning courseware, assessment materials, and learning technologies.
- Work closely with the Teacher Development and Innovation team to ensure sound and compliant design of innovative learning resources.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including teachers, operations managers, subject matter experts, and industry partners.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning resources.
- Stay up-to-date with current quality standards, learning theories, and principles applicable to e-learning and blended learning.
- Apply knowledge of learning technologies and trends to design and develop innovative learning resources.
About You:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Learning Designer with a strong background in instructional design, e-learning, and blended learning. The ideal candidate will have:
- A TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- A Diploma in Vocational Education and Training or equivalent.
- Previous experience in learning design for e-learning and blended learning programs in a vocational education and training or higher education environment.
- Extensive knowledge of current quality standards, learning theories, and principles applicable to e-learning and blended learning.
- Experience in drawing on the latest educational trends and learning technologies to design and develop innovative learning resources.
