Early Childhood Educator and Learning Program Designer

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to provide high-quality care and education to young learners. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and be part of a vibrant team at the Y in Taylors Hill, VIC.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, play-based learning programs that cater to diverse needs and interests.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor children's progress and inform individualised learning plans.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with families to support children's learning and wellbeing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance practice and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service.
Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working as an Early Childhood Educator, preferably in long day care or outside school hours care settings.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development, pedagogy, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for supporting the growth and wellbeing of young children.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service.
- A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification.
