Job Summary

The Role of a Client Liaison Officer involves delivering exceptional service to clients and supporting senior managers in developing, growing and deepening client relationships.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local teams, build relationships with clients and retain local knowledge.
  • Drive client advocacy by being an empowered case resolver for client servicing enquiries.
  • Support senior managers to complete client servicing tasks and maximise utilisation of value chain stakeholders to assist in the timely completion of client requests.
  • Responsible for client adoption of digital channels including education of clients to transition to self-servicing channels to simplify client banking.
  • Centre of Excellence for onboarding new to bank clients and completion of Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements including accountability for quality and time to cash metrics.
  • Identify ways in which we can continue to meet or better support our client needs through such as specialised requirements and engagement with our specialist bankers.
  • Proactive management of Term Deposit Rollovers and opening of new Term Deposit Accounts.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Banking and Finance or a business-related discipline (preferred).
  • Understanding of KYC onboarding compliance requirements with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital platforms and client self-service channels.
  • Ability to deliver superior client service on a consistent basis.
  • Foundational banking system knowledge, proficiency in Siebel and Ebobs desirable.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and willingness to further develop business and financial acumen.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Banking and Finance or a business-related discipline.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of digital platforms and client self-service channels.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and drive business growth.
  • Fundamental banking system knowledge.
