About the Role

This is an opportunity to join our clinical team as a Senior Medical Receptionist. As a key point of contact, you will be responsible for providing exceptional secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical staff, and management headspace personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct incoming calls to the appropriate staff members in a timely manner
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate client records
  • Perform general office duties including mail management, typing, scanning, filing, and archiving documents
  • Contribute to closing and securing the building at the end of each day
  • Prepare medical letters for clinical team members in a professional and efficient manner
  • Maintain up-to-date mental health care plans and sessions for seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Medical Administration or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated administration, time management, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of the health sector with ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds
  • A proven record of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
