The role of Environment and Sustainability Coordinator supports our environmental and sustainability objectives, ensuring compliance with license requirements and social obligations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and implementing environmental and sustainability legislation, standards, and guidelines.
  • Coordinating activities related to environment and sustainability, including waste management and vendor liaison.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing environmental management systems and associated documents.
  • Analysing data from monitoring instruments and external laboratory reports to identify trends and potential non-compliance.
  • Undertaking compliance reporting, including NPI, NGERS, ABS, Environmental Licences, and sustainability reporting.

To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in Environmental/Sustainability or a related discipline, along with 2-3 years of experience. A strong understanding of local, national, and international environmental laws, standards, and regulations is essential. You should possess the ability to plan, implement, and manage sustainability projects from inception to completion.

This role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
