About the Role

The Director of Governance, Audit, Risk & Legal will lead and oversee the delivery of ClearCompany's strategic governance, audit, risk, and legal functions.

This role will work across the organization to proactively enhance good governance practices, ensuring the identification and remediation of risk and strategic issues, and seeking continuous improvement of standards, policy, and procedures to optimize outcomes of legal matters and maintain regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will lead a diverse team of governance and legal specialists in a dynamic environment, leveraging their technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to drive results.

About You

You are an experienced leader, accustomed to motivating a team to deliver a diverse governance and legal service with a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision.

You thrive in a dynamic, challenging, and rewarding environment, bringing your flexibility, agility, and sound decision-making skills to mitigate risk and take opportunities.

You are seen as a trusted adviser, with a track record of providing proactive solutions and options to a wide range of complex matters.

Beyond your governance and legal expertise, you excel in navigating relationships with finesse, empathizing with diverse perspectives, influencing and negotiating, seeking compromise, and bringing consensus decisions to a close.

You will have demonstrated extensive experience at a senior level, preferably within the public sector or comparable complex organization.

Your unique multifaceted background, talents, and strengths drawn from your life experiences enable you to lead with empathy, authenticity, and resilience, inspiring and guiding others towards shared goals with wisdom and understanding.
