About the Role

This is a critical position within HCF - IT & Transformation that focuses on ensuring the IT business environment operates with operational excellence and continues to deliver services that meet regulatory and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Governance and Compliance: Develop and implement effective IT governance and compliance processes across IT services to ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
  • IT Audits and Compliance: Manage IT audits, compliance, and line 1 controls assurance across all IT services to identify control gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Control Evaluation and Assurance: Conduct design and operating effectiveness testing for defined IT controls, and document the control evaluation process, including methodology, testing results, and identified deficiencies.
  • Process Development and Review: Contribute to the development, review, and operationalization of IT processes to ensure they are effective and efficient.
  • Reporting and Communication: Compile detailed reports on the effectiveness of internal controls, including identified weaknesses and recommended improvements, and communicate these findings to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage senior stakeholders and build effective relationships across technology and business to instill confidence in the business and demonstrate the business value of IT.
Requirements
  • Experience: Three (3) or more years of solid experience in an IT risk, compliance role.
  • Education: Graduate Degree (e.g., BIT, BSc) or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or an equivalent engineering discipline.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft tools like SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: Certifications, such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CIPP, CISM, are well regarded but not a prerequisite.
