Job Title: Project Officer Leader

The role of the Project Officer Leader involves supporting senior managers with activities related to planning, performance management, and risk governance. This includes coordination and leadership in complex projects and preparation of reports for executive review.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading strategic initiatives such as the development of departmental operational plans and quarterly reviews.
  • Coordinating the production of internal and external reports including executive summaries for the Board of Management and Housing Executive Leadership Team.
  • Assisting senior managers with implementation of the department's Planning and Performance Framework and Risk Governance Framework.
  • Providing high-quality advice on risk management processes and corporate governance matters.
  • Leading performance measure reviews and facilitating discussions between management and staff on business unit objectives.

Maintaining effective working relationships is crucial in this role, requiring regular communication with central Governance, Planning and Reporting units.
