Job Title: Project Leader

We are seeking an experienced Project Leader to join our team and contribute to the success of our civil construction projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in leading teams, managing resources, and executing projects to plan. They will be responsible for driving project activities in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that all stakeholders are satisfied with the outcome.

  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure achievement of production schedules.
  • Develop and implement project plans to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Experience in supervisory/management role within the construction industry (essential).
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Management (or equivalent experience/qualification) (highly regarded).
  • S1, S2 and S3 qualifications (highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated understanding of construction plant and equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
  • Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation.
  • Confident communication and ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Experience with and confident using Microsoft Office and construction related systems.
