Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to build a volunteer service that meets the needs of our residential service and clients;",">
  • Attracting, recruiting, and onboarding volunteers, matching their interests with suitable opportunities;",">
  • Managing and mentoring volunteers, providing them with online and onsite training as well as coordinating social events;",">
  • Maintaining accurate records in our volunteer database and following established processes and guidelines;",">
  • Managing the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.",">

Requirements:

  • ",">
  • Commitment to align with our organization's mission and values;",">
  • Demonstrated experience in administration or coordination roles, with a focus on relationship building;",">
  • Leadership skills and ability to work independently as well as with others;",">
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and work with people at all levels;",">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong influencing style;",">
  • Preferred experience in recruitment, particularly of volunteers;",">
  • Intermediate MS Office skills and empathy/compassion.",">
