**Job Title:** Tourism and Community Liaison Officer

Job Summary

This role is a permanent part-time position based in Wedderburn at the Visitor Information Centre.

Main Responsibilities
  • Promote tourism throughout the Loddon Shire and support local tourism businesses.
  • Contribute to the daily operations of the Visitor Information Centre through quality visitor servicing.
  • Support and coordinate the recruitment and retention of Visitor Information Centre volunteers.
  • Develop and manage group tours and itineraries.

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in administration and working with community groups, tourism operators, and industry representatives. Ability to work as part of a multifunctional team and on an autonomous basis is also essential.

  • Knowledge of the tourism industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience in administration, including capability in the use of office computer systems.
