Job Title: Delivery Lead

We're a challenger brand that's out there crafting our own path through new technology, innovation, and investment. As a Delivery Lead in the Optus Data Office, you'll be responsible for managing and successfully delivering data transformation and modernisation programs within the Optus IT Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and define program requirements through accurately establishing customer expectations and analysing business interests.
  • Define, detail and document the scope and specifics of the program.
  • Analyse tasks and develop an accurate schedule to fulfil program results.
  • Identify, analyse and refine program costs to produce a budget.
  • Monitor, review and report program quality and results.
  • Identify and formulate a risk management plan for a program and assure program continuity.
  • Successfully manage business initiatives and senior business partner relationships.
  • Ensure customer experience parameters are driven to conclusion within programs.
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification or equivalent in Business, IT, Engineering or other aligned fields, complimented in professional certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience managing capital programs within the IT/Telecommunications or Financial Services sectors, with formal training in Project Management.
  • Delivery using Agile/Iterative methodologies, with strong financial and business proficiencies.
  • Demonstrated success in directly leading large, sophisticated data programs.
  • Consistent experience in successfully supporting a delivery team in matrix reporting environment.
  • Proven track record in coaching, mentoring and developing team members; successfully supporting performance to achieve continuous improvement of team capabilities.
