We are seeking a skilled Data & Insights Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). As a Data & Insights Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growth strategy by interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques, and developing strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Filter and 'clean' data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Ability to analyse large datasets and write comprehensive reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Experience using SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP software products (highly desired).
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
