Job Overview

This competency-based apprenticeship offers the opportunity to develop skills in diesel fitting through formal and on-the-job learning.

About the Role

This position will assist in servicing and repairing various plant/equipment systems, including engines, cooling systems, transmissions, clutches, hydraulics, and braking systems under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete a 4-year Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology while undertaking on-the-job training and learning.
  • Assist in the servicing and repair of plant/equipment systems.
About You
  • You must have a minimum completed Year 10 with passes in English and Mathematics.
  • You must hold a Queensland C-class provisional driver's licence or be able to obtain one.
  • You should have sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • You should have sound computer skills and be able to work effectively within a team.
  • You should be willing to undertake requirements to complete associated qualification.
