Business Operations Director Role

Our organization seeks an accomplished Business Operations Director to spearhead the strategic planning, financial oversight, risk management, and cultural engagement initiatives across our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and contribute to strategic planning papers.
  • Track and manage financial performance, budgets, and reporting across the organization.
  • Lead risk management and governance activities to ensure operational integrity.
  • Drive employee engagement through initiatives like communications and recognition programs.
  • Coordinate and prepare for quarterly innovation days, ensuring smooth execution and high impact.
  • Partner with HR and leaders on workforce planning and team culture initiatives.
  • Collaborate across business units to align operations with broader strategic goals.
  • Provide clear, confident communication-both written and verbal-to influence and inform stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business operations, strategic planning, and portfolio delivery within complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including OPEX/CAPEX and business case development.
  • Demonstrated success in risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • High levels of energy, initiative, and self-drive-you're proactive and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to lead change, drive innovation, and foster a collaborative team culture.
  • Experience managing employee engagement and communications programs.
  • Skilled in coordinating cross-functional projects and aligning operational activities with strategic outcomes.
