Workplace Relations Advisor Job

This exciting opportunity focuses on supporting members with employment matters and workplace occupational health safety issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and training to members on industrial relations legislation, awards, general human resources issues, and workplace occupational health safety.
  • Assess member issues and provide accurate advice and information on consulting services and products available to meet their needs.
  • Offer assistance on a wide range of employment matters and help members navigate complex workplace relations issues.
  • Support the team by providing administration and time management skills.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources or equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong customer service skills, including verbal and written communication, and capacity to comprehend complex IR/HR issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong administrative and time management skills.
  • Capacity to understand and apply employment legislation and the Australian Industrial Relations system.
