Support Specialist – Community Care

As a passionate Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to clients in the community. You will assist with daily tasks and activities, provide domestic assistance, and accompany individuals on outings and social events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks
  • Provide household management services
  • Accompany clients on excursions and social activities

To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently. A valid Australian Driver's License, car insurance, and registration are essential requirements.

Requirements:
  • Australian Driver's License (provisional permitted)
  • Car with insurance and registration
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • 100 points of identification
  • Working with Children Check

Favorable qualifications include a Certificate III in Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, or Disability Work. Previous experience in a similar role, as well as supporting individuals with disabilities, is highly desirable.
