Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant trade background or equivalent experience in construction management, coupled with strong skills in planning, problem-solving, and effective communication.

Key responsibilities involve coordinating projects, ensuring site safety and compliance, leading teams, and overseeing quality assurance and budget management.

They must be able to interpret plans and specifications, schedule labour, materials, and equipment, and collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Additionally, they must lead toolbox talks, enforce workplace health and safety policies, conduct site safety inspections, and guarantee all works meet regulatory and industry standards.

The successful candidate will supervise trades and apprentices, allocate tasks, resolve on-site issues, and mentor junior staff members.

They must also monitor workmanship, arrange for inspections, and drive corrective actions to minimize rework.

Finally, they must track project costs, support invoicing, and ensure that projects remain within financial parameters.

Requirements:

  • Strong skills in planning, problem-solving, and communication.
