
Human Resources Business Partnership Manager

This is an exciting role that brings together strategic human resources partnership, operational execution, and core administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with organisational strategy.
- Lead the development of performance management programs, employee engagement, company culture, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Utilise data analysis skills to inform decision-making and provide expert advice on people-related strategies.
- Support organisational transformation and talent development efforts.
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations including staff onboarding, employment contracts, probation periods, training and career development, HRIS updates, and payroll coordination.
- Manage Time and Leave Management processes.
- Perform a range of HR administrative duties such as record-keeping, policy documentation, and employment correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, and facilitate internal communications.
- Ensure the integrity of HR data and generate reports as required.
- Keep HR policies and procedures up-to-date with relevant legislation, awards, and WHS requirements.
- Mitigate legal and compliance risk through proactive HR governance and audit-readiness.
- Provide expert interpretation and application of Australian workplace legislation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations, managing sensitive issues such as grievances or performance concerns.
- Foster a positive work environment through wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR queries from staff at all levels.
- Drive improvements in efficiency and employee experience through HR projects.
- Introduce or optimise processes and systems for effective HR service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proven generalist HR experience with practical knowledge of the Australian industrial relations system.
- Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure, handling sensitive issues with discretion.
- Strong risk mitigation and compliance skills in HR contexts.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders across all levels.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Advanced organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High proficiency in HRIS tools, data handling, and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement focus.
- Demonstrated ability to work both strategically and operationally.
- High emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and resilience.
Desirable Qualifications
- HR qualifications.
- Previous experience in consulting, professional services, or a growing SME environment is advantageous.
