Role Overview

The position supports the planning and delivery of landscape design documentation for parks, open spaces, playgrounds, sports fields and soft landscaping of infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landscape design and drafting for various capital works projects.
  • Assist with site investigations and preparation of design reports.
  • Prepare cost estimates for landscape elements and support construction planning.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, residents, utilities, and government agencies.
  • Maintain accurate job costing records and adhere to quality standards.
  • Support the team's use of design software and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • A recently completed tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture or similar.
  • Some experience with landscape design and knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Good drafting skills and ability to work with design software including AutoCAD and Adobe software packages.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • C Class NSW Driver's Licence (Provisional P2 minimum).
  • Previous work experience in the field is desirable.
