Key Landscape Design Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Landscape Design and Project Officer on a permanent full-time basis.

The successful candidate will have a degree qualification in Landscape Architecture, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality service and independently carry out strategic projects.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed design documentation including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and master plans;
  • Conduct thorough site analysis, landscape design risk assessment, and plant selection with proven ability to achieve high-quality design outcomes for the community;
  • Develop and implement project plans, coordinate resources, and manage project timelines effectively;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including local government representatives, staff members, and the general public, through effective communication and presentation skills;
  • Undertake various non-design duties and projects to meet operational needs;
Requirements
  • Degree qualifications in Landscape Architecture and eligibility to obtain registration with the relevant industry association;
  • Demonstrated experience in Landscape Architecture, including preparing design documentation, conducting site analysis, and developing project plans;
  • Advanced computing skills, including Microsoft Office suite (or equivalent) and Adobe Creative Cloud;
  • Knowledge and experience in CAD software, graphic presentation software, and other relevant tools;
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including ability to present at forums and workshops;
  • Proven performance and ability to achieve objectives and meet project timeline targets;
