- Flexible and hybrid working, 2 days per week from home and late starts/early finishes where needed.
- Lead and deliver large-scale community focused landscape projects across public realm and infrastructure / transport sectors alongside a Tier 1 contractor.
- Scheduled 6 monthly reviews for promotions and pay rises.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
I'm working on behalf of a well-established multi-disciplinary architecture and design practice that is expanding its landscape architecture division. Known for delivering innovative, thoughtful, and high-quality design outcomes, the firm works across a broad range of sectors including large-scale infrastructure, national public realm, transportation, and commercial projects.
With studios located across Australia, the Sydney team is growing, making this a crucial time to come on board. Their work sits at the intersection of people, place, and nature, with a design ethos focused on reconnecting urban environments with natural systems and communities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This Senior Landscape Architect position will play a key role in driving the success of the landscape team. Reporting to the Landscape Project Lead and collaborating closely with senior leadership, you'll be responsible for leading project delivery, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the strategic growth of the wider division.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys a balance of creativity, technical work, and leadership, with strong Revit skills and proven experience delivering complex, large-scale projects.
DUTIES
- Contribute to the design and documentation of major landscape architecture projects across infrastructure, transport, commercial, and public realm sectors
- Oversee project delivery through all phases, from concept to construction
- Mentor/support junior and graduate team members
- Collaborate with architects, urban designers, engineers, and external consultants
- Produce high-quality design and technical documentation using Revit
- Attend and contribute to internal reviews, client meetings, and design workshops
- Champion sustainable, people-focused design
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience, with at least some in senior roles
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale infrastructure, transport or public realm developments
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (essential)
- Strong design, documentation, and project coordination skills
- Confident communicator, capable of leading internal teams and liaising with clients and stakeholders
