**Job Description**

Emergency management specialists play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of organizations. This position reports to the Superintendent of Health & Safety and is responsible for developing, implementing, and training emergency response teams in protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing emergency response plans and protocols, supporting the Emergency Response Team through training and development initiatives, and maintaining a specific skill set to facilitate ERT development and improvement.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in emergency response, preferably in mining or construction. They should be skilled in injury and illness response protocols and techniques, and proficient in Microsoft software and general database use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and protocols
  • Train and develop emergency response teams
  • Review and audit emergency response facilities, processes, and documents

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in emergency response
  • Skills in injury and illness response protocols and techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software and general database use
