Job Title

A key role exists for an Emergency Management Advisor who will be responsible for implementing and training the Emergency Response team and Safety management system.

  • This involves developing, implementing, and training the emergency response team Captains in emergency protocols and procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will support the Emergency Response Team through training packages to site personnel.
  • They will also implement, train, and support the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
  • In addition, they will develop and maintain a specific skill set to facilitate the development of the ERT.
  • The successful candidate will assist with Site Access Control with Fit for Work testing and contribute to the Health and Safety Management System.
  • Furthermore, they will review, inspect, and audit emergency response facilities, processes, and documents.

Requirements include holding relevant qualifications and certificates, including Certificate 4 Trainer/Assessor, Certificate 3 Mines Rescue, Occupational First Aid, and Cert 4 HLT Ambulance Diploma in Emergency Management.

Previous experience in emergency response, preferably in mining or construction, is essential.

The ideal candidate must have proficiency in Microsoft software and general database use, and competence in writing and reviewing management plans and procedures.
