Emergency Management Professional
About the Role
This position reports to the Superintendent of Health & Safety and is responsible for developing, implementing, and training emergency response teams in protocols and procedures.
Developing and implementing emergency response plans and protocols.
Supporting the Emergency Response Team through training and development initiatives.
Implementing and training the Emergency Response Team (ERT) on emergency response protocols and procedures.
Maintaining a specific skill set to facilitate ERT development and improvement.
Collaborating with Site Access Control to ensure fit-for-work testing and contribute to the health and safety management system.
Assisting with review and audit of emergency response facilities, processes, and documents for compliance.
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in emergency response, preferably in mining or construction. They should be skilled in injury and illness response protocols and techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft software and general database use is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement emergency response plans and protocols
Train and develop emergency response teams
Review and audit emergency response facilities, processes, and documents
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications and experience in emergency response
Skills in injury and illness response protocols and techniques
