This is a senior accounting role that requires significant involvement in monthly financial closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing.
The ideal candidate will possess strong demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards, as well as proficiency in financial analysis techniques and budgeting processes with expertise in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee key financial processes including end-of-month processing and reconciliation.
- Evaluate compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Support internal and external audits, contribute to financial reporting and analyse financial performance to provide strategic insights.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role, with experience in Medicare processes and systems an advantage.
- Experience in financial software packages such as Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics), MagiQ.
- A close-knit team with career progression opportunities.
