Job Title: Care Leader

Care Leaders are responsible for the delivery of exceptional care to residents in a supportive and collaborative environment. This role involves leading a team of healthcare professionals, overseeing daily clinical operations, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

The successful candidate will have a strong leadership presence, effective communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive team culture. They will be accountable for reviewing clinical incidents, managing person-centred care planning, and collaborating with allied health services to provide optimal resident care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of care and ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
  • Support and develop a high-performing care team, focusing on coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure our residents receive the best care available.
  • Review clinical incidents, complaints, and changes, providing solutions to reduce any risks.
  • Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents, including case conferencing with families and carers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA registration is essential.
  • Post-graduate qualification in aged care is highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are critical for success in this role.
