About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Planning Expert to join our team at WSP in Australia. As a key member of our Planning and Mobility team, you will be responsible for delivering technical excellence in transport planning and advisory services on projects across Queensland, Australia, and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transport planning strategies and policies that promote sustainable and efficient transportation systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet client needs and expectations
  • Conduct data analysis and modeling to inform transport planning decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Post-Graduate qualification in Regional and Town Planning, Urban Development, Development Economics, Civil and Transportation Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3-10 years' experience in transport planning, with a demonstrated understanding of active and public transport policy, strategy, and planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Experience with Excel, GIS, and/or other tools for data analysis and graphical outputs
