Key Responsibilities- Manage the delivery of medium and large-scale transport projects, providing design management and technical management skills to deliver excellent outcomes for our clients.
- Play a key leadership role in the growth and technical development of our transport team, with particular emphasis on expanding our capabilities in the design of major road projects.
- Perform engineering duties as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in planning, design, and documentation of road designs and in the preparation of technical design reports and drawings.
- Support the transport team with pursuing new project opportunities by actively inputting to the preparation of proposals, clearly articulating our technical and delivery capability, and supporting the preparation of the commercial offer for the delivery of designs for road projects.
- Mentor junior engineers in the transport team and provide guidance and support in their pursuit of professional qualifications.
- You will have a strong track record in leading and delivering the design of major roads projects in Queensland, with a detailed understanding of standards and local client requirements for the design of road infrastructure.
- You will be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or have the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- You will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering or related field and be a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) preferred.
- You will have engaged industry connections, particularly with the QLD Department of Transport and Main Roads.
