We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Planning Professional to join our team at WSP Australia. As a Senior Transport Planner, you will play a key role in delivering technical excellence in transport planning and advisory services on projects.
About the Team:
Our Planning and Mobility team is a group of talented, passionate, and friendly professionals who provide integrated transport advisory and planning services to government and private clients. We operate as part of a national team, delivering projects across Queensland, Australia, and internationally.
About You:
- You will have a Bachelor's Degree or Post-Graduate qualification in Regional and Town Planning, Urban Development, Development Economics, Civil and Transportation Engineering, or equivalent.
- You will have 3-10 years' experience in transport planning, with a demonstrated understanding of active and public transport policy, strategy, and planning.
- You will be committed to delivering technical excellence in transport planning and advisory services, with a strong interest in sustainable transport policy, strategy, and planning.
- You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and data in easily-understood, graphical formats.
- You will be proficient in Excel, GIS, and/or other tools for data analysis and graphical outputs.
- You will be willing to learn and apply new skills in traffic/transport demand analysis and modelling.
- You will be committed to building your industry profile and developing client and colleague relationships.
- You will have project management capability or a commitment to developing project management skills.
