About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Planning Expert to join our team at Greencap. As a key member of our Planning and Mobility team, you will be responsible for delivering technical excellence in transport planning and advisory services on projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement transport planning strategies and policies that promote sustainable and efficient transportation systems.
  • Conduct transportation studies and analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations for implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector companies, and community groups, to develop and implement transportation plans and projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on transportation planning and policy issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in transportation planning and policy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Post-Graduate qualification in Regional and Town Planning, Urban Development, Development Economics, Civil and Transportation Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3-10 years' experience in transport planning, with a strong understanding of active and public transport policy, strategy, and planning.
  • Commitment to delivering technical excellence in transport planning and advisory services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience with Excel, GIS, and/or other tools for data analysis and graphical outputs.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills in traffic/transport demand analysis and modelling.
  • Commitment to building your industry profile and developing client and colleague relationships.
  • Project Management capability or a commitment to developing project management skills.
