The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a significant area or function within the school, ensuring the effective implementation of educational policies and frameworks. This includes analysing student needs, translating state educational policy into appropriate education programs, and leading the oversight and leadership of educational programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervision and coordination of senior curriculum or level coordinators;
  • Allocation of budgets, positions of responsibility, and other resources within the designated area;
  • Supervision of the delivery of teaching programs;
  • Management of programs to improve staff knowledge and experience;
  • Responsibility for general discipline matters beyond classroom teachers and year level coordinators;
  • Contributing to the overall management of the school.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed skills in leading and managing change, outstanding financial, organisational, and resource management skills, and a demonstrated capacity to motivate staff and build an effective team.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must have provisional or full registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
