General Requirements
  • Candidates must hold a relevant trade certificate
  • Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry essential.
  • Alignment to our principles: integrity, accountability, innovation & deliver
  • Current Standard 11, a current open drivers' licence and relevant coal mining certifications
  • Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System
Job Description
  • Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing and maintenance procedures
  • Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change outs to a high regard
  • Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation
  • Provide high-quality installations including mountings, wiring and testing of equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
  • Refrigerated handling license advantageous
  • Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry.
  • Experience in general service, maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and proper diagnostics, computer system JDE, OEM computer-based systems, Cat, Cummins, Hitachi and Liebherr.
