**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team.
The role involves overseeing the maintenance of draglines and shovels to ensure maximum equipment availability.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies to improve safety, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Additionally, you will need to drive compliance with all statutory and company safety standards.
This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with engineering, operations and planning teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have:
- An Electrical Trade Qualification with relevant post-trade experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Solid technical understanding of dragline and shovel electrical systems.
- Problem-solving and fault-finding expertise in high-voltage mining equipment.
- Queensland Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain).
- Previous experience supervising maintenance teams in a mining environment (preferably dragline and shovel).
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and build high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing maintenance crew.
- Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance for draglines and shovels.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve safety, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Drive compliance with all statutory and company safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, operations and planning teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
