High-Profile M&A Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced High-Profile M&A Lawyer to join our Sydney and/or Melbourne offices. As a key member of the transactional services team, you will be responsible for managing client expectations and lines of enquiry, advising on private and public M&A deals, and contributing strategically to proposal and tender efforts.

This is an exciting opportunity for high-performers who are not afraid to try new things and question the status quo. You will need to be a qualified lawyer with four to eight years post-qualification experience gained in private practice, along with the following skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience working on private and/or public M&A transactions
  • Infrastructure and/or energy sector experience (helpful but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to assimilate information quickly and handle multiple priorities under pressure or within tight timeframes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and diverse stakeholder audiences
  • Collegiate and collaborative, with the ability to lead, mentor and support other team members
  • Be commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced high-performing team
  • Bring energy and passion to the role
